Death Poem by Brian Goddard

Death

Rating: 4.5

He had eyes of steel,
His gun was aimed upon my head,
I didn't know what to feel,
Next thing I knew I was dead.

I was in a tunnel of light,
I knew it was death
I tried to put up a fight,
Until my very last breath.

There I arrived in hell,
The fire tickled my leg,
I heard a sound of a bell,
There was no time to beg,

I heard the sound of the devil's laugh,
I thought I was done,
There he stood with his massive staff,
There was no chance to run.
