Death Inside/Is Also A Fear

DEATH INSIDE

Death inside
Is also a fear-
To no longer have interest
Or desire -
To feel empty
And without thought-

Death inside
Is also a fear-
To be breathing and moving
To live in the world
And yet lack all feeling –

Death inside
Is also a fear-
And so the prayer
That I go on living
Even if be
Only through weak words
like these,
Until I die.
