Death Invitation Poem by Paul Sebastian

Death Invitation

Some live, suicide-prone
Drive chatting on the phone,
Inviting death on their own.
Leaving loved ones to mourn:
Fatherless, deserted and forlorn,
Fending for themselves all alone
Or raised in some orphanage home.
To live, maimed and disabled
Cause those around, trouble
Invalid, dependent and miserable
One silly mistake: whole life’s regrettable!
Ego maniac in a show-off act: dishonorable!
Road devils: reckless and darn irresponsible!
Think! Drive chatting on the phone, is despicable!

Oh my friend I wholeheartedly agree with you on this issue! The talking AND the texting while driving is abhorrent! I truly wish someone could come up with a way to make this impossible! I constantly plead with my nineteen year old daughter to please not do either. A great poem of awareness!
