Death Is Tough Poem by Rita Hawkins

Death Is Tough

Rating: 5.0

Death can be a sad time, if you really focus to much,
But if you will let your mind wonder to the good memoies,
Oftenly they come in a bunch,
I know how it is, you do not want to eat breakfast, dinner. or lunch.

But please they would not want to see you this way, would they?
They are watching from Heaven every single day,
I know it is hard to hear me say they still love you,
but I know that this is true.

So focus more on what they were,
Not what they are, sure it is tough,
But you also know that life is rough,
So come you have gotten through other stuff,
And they would want you to be tough, and
not widdle down to 'fluff.'

a sweet poem....you have expressed a truth of this world....life is tough...as well as death is....when a person dies, we have to learn to let go...or it might be too hard for us! good poem... Nia
