The day when Lazarus
Lay dead in the tomb
The power of God spoke
A hush of silence, filled the room
Just the voice of Christ
Demanding life return the same
Had all souls restless
Till he called him by name
Lazarus! Come Forth!
I demand life return
Fill his body
He spoke so firm
As his grave clothes
Fell to the ground
The crowd had gathered
When they heard the sounds
When life speaks
Death has to listen
The Master of life
From death has risen
Lazarus back to life
As Christ soon would
And deliver us from death
From the place he stood
Now death shivers
At the mention of life
Death must bow
At the feet of Christ
