Death My Birthright Poem by Alexander Raju

Death My Birthright

Eureka! I found out the truth at last:
It's just fate that controls our earthly life;
Belief in god, in deathless human soul,
Inpleasant heaven and horrible hell,
Or hopeful metamorphosis on earth -
All faiths fake and are nonsense to the core.

Death is my birthright, I'll grab it,
By fate we're born, by fate we die,
If it's not true let my life be a waste;
History is just creative fiction
And biographies are mere false stories,
Ne'er could I find one who believes true God.
