Death Of An Angel Poem by Ari Lynn

Death Of An Angel

As she beat me I fell to the ground,
Wishing some way somehow time could possibly be unwound.
Hoping that my friends could hear all my goodbyes,
As I watch death silently stare into my eyes.

A part of me felt as if I wasn’t ready to go,
But the other said, sit back and watch your soul glow.
Within the blink of an eye, with on last pelt,
A burning sensation I soon felt.

Now in search of a way to turn,
For I feared that I might eternally burn.

I began to wonder,
What on earth could i have done,
To deserve to be deep down under,
And to also have been the only one.
