He stood at the gallows awaiting a near death hanging but saw a man with a axe and a hoody. He sighed with relief that he was saved from the quartering, while a king paced his halls with uncertainty. People shouted traitor while others god bless. The man named Thomas kneeled down and bowed his head. Before the axe was swang he gave his last words “I am the King's good servant but God's first' and with that poor More lost his head.
