Death Shall Be My Repose; Poem by Driss Ezzireg

Death Shall Be My Repose;

Rating: 5.0

When night shall come dreary
And the soul shall sit weary
And the eyes shall lose their glare
And the body shall stay bare
Death shall be my repose.

When love shall tire away
And passion shall turn gray
And friends to fate shall resign
And tears shall drop like rain
Death shall be my repose.

Death shall be my repose
When light shall be so close
And stars and suns and moons
Shall welcome my second coming
With infinite glee and drumming.
