Debating My Case Poem by Louise Tredoux

Debating My Case

Rudi makes me so angry when he
takes on too much responsibility and
I don’t see him enough, just having
him here is bliss, when he’s not a
certain excitement goes out of the
air, I’m looking forward to a little
fight with him, invited to dinner to
Julliette’s parents he summarily
refused, but they are like parents
to me, I love them, I want him to
get to know them too, pay our
respects – just showing them the
love I have for them – can’t wait
to start debating my case…
