I look in my closet of disguises
And I ponder what to wear
Today I think, I'll take a smile
And a pair of freckled eyes
With some drawn out lies
Tomorrow I'll borrow a frown
And a pair of scowled brows
Yesterday I was proud
So I wore a cartoon gown
But one day I'm sad and feeling down
I decide that I'm done
Hiding myself has never been fun
I open my shades, and feel the sun
She bathes me pure, and tells me to run
She says it's okay, no more disguises, wear my light in your eyes
And the world will see.
Just who you've become
