Deepawali, The Festival Of Lights



Deepawali, the Festival of Lights,
Lights lighting,
Lights emitted by
The earthenware pots,
Diyas burning and lighting,
The candles lit
All joining the Carnival of Lights
Going and glistening
And glimmering
And against such a backdrop,
Kali coming,
The Dark Goddess
Kali the Mother Divine.
