Deepest Fears Poem by Naina Elizabeth Sebastian

Deepest Fears

Rating: 4.2

Haunted by the ghost of the past
I crawl away fast
Worried and scared
My vision blurred
Searching for hope
Unable to cope
With those stinging scars
Which hold me hostage in bars

A void in my heart
which breaks me apart
Forcing myself to make my face nonchalant
Akin to a gallant

I have to move on
Since life is a game on

A nice depiction of what depression does to the depressed. I like the articulation and rhyme scheme of the poem. A lovely piece indeed. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
