Demen ...

(a time when happiness was a void / In your dreams of the dark)

Defeat

Marching in lines
10 long and 2 wide
marching along with no sense of pride
soldiers of way
swelled with their greed
defeated in battle and down on their knees
No mercy was given
no blood was spared
the soldiers lay down
on their final death bed...

Poem of the Day

poet Henry David Thoreau

My books I'd fain cast off, I cannot read,
'Twixt every page my thoughts go stray at large
Down in the meadow, where is richer feed,
And will not mind to hit their proper targe.
