Defense Of The Poet Poem by James Grengs

Defense Of The Poet

Rating: 2.8

It isn't my fault
That I see strange things-
I think I only view the world
In an artist's light.

Don't blame me
If I say strange things-
I only speak my mind
In a way only an artist could.

What I see is what I say,
Coupled, of course, with what I feel.
As an artist, I live for the experience,
And to share that experiene with you.
