Rules to make us see much better.
To define the world amongst us,
To give shape to unseen shadows.
As the thirst for knowledge rises,
We define and re define.
It’s a gift that we abuse
Giving shape to shapeless things,
Do not lighten but will burden,
Changing from the natural,
To the all well known unnatural.
To define is what we seek,
Yet by seeking we conclude.
Who are we to change the rules?
Might it be that God’s defined?
But it’s changing undefined!
