Delete Every Line Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Delete Every Line

His poor heart is broken
a soul in distress,
sad words ever spoken
there's no happiness.
He is lonely, so lonely
and pines for her only
for her tender caress.

She hears his voice calling
at the end of the day
teardrops keep falling
her world in disarray.
She is lonely, so lonely
and yearns for him only
but she's travelling his way.

Two hearts were broken
but the sun soon will shine
unkind words that were spoken
'delet every line'.
