Delight In Moonlight Poem by Ahasanul Hossain

Delight In Moonlight

O moon, you take away my sleep
I gaze and gaze; you attract me deep.
What a pleasure and delight then feel I,
Such a bliss, such an ecstasy, I cry.

Come my home, O my dear,
I’ll sing a lullaby, you shall hear.
I shall give you crown of king
With a glittering diamond ring.

Why don’t you come, do you fear?
I just want to come too near.
I know I know you come never,
Don’t hide behind the cloud forever.
