Demonic Economics Poem by Saiom Shriver

Demonic Economics

Investors can't make money from
the Godgiven, prolific and free.
They prefer slaughterhouse dollars
They can't let the mammals be.
Yielding 100 to 1000 pounds an acre
Cows are murdered for a fee.
They've overlooked fruit and nut groves of
450,000 pounds an acre
or 2000 pounds per tree
blessed by
resident birds and satellite bees.
But the writing on the wall
they're beginning to see.
