Demons Poem by balasar sharptooth

Demons

Rating: 5.0

Forgotten feeling creeping upon me
invading, rooting, clawing their way
breaching sealed thoughts that were silenced
darkness and sorrow encompassing like a cloak
I hoped they would never be opened, but only repressed
manifesting in urges beckoning to be released
taking the physical form of flowing rubies
swelling forth like rain drops leaving streaks of crimson
feelings of regret and shame left in its wake
