Dennington Town Poem by Francis Duggan

Dennington Town

Of many nationalities and races of black, white and brown
The beautiful women of Dennington Town
Where many greet you with a smile on their face
A stranger in Dennington never feels out of place
Where the dark Merri waters towards Warrnambool flow
By Dennington Town it does crawl along slow
With an old World charm yet a modern Town
Dennington of Victoria south west a gem in the crown
Close to the City of Warrnambool with a charm of it's own
For it's hospitable people Dennington is well known
And where beautiful women free of guile and conceit
With happy smiling faces one always does meet
By the dark Merri waters in Dennington Town
Of Victoria's south west a gem in the crown.
