Depths Of Night Poem by Naveed Akram

In dazzling depths of night,
I live with light and darkness
As the lamp is fixed in the air.
A perched jewel supposes its worth
With echoes of beautiful waves.
They carry on into the depths,
I hear cascades of sound and water,
The whole canyon is smiling towards me.
What excellent sight is this!
How fruits like water have an abode!
This mountaintop is at a distant scene,
Inner work has been beyond this realm.
