Descent Into Madness Poem by Abdullah Ramadan

Descent Into Madness

Rating: 5.0

Have you ever felt empty
All your emotion drained
Have you ever thought you see
Through the night as it rained

But you found that you'e blind
That you saw just shadows
It was all in your mind
But then the light, it shows

Lights, shows, like that movie pills

They gave you pills to sleep
They told you, you are mad
Then you saw shadows teem
Then you thought, this is bad

Bad, bad guys wear black, right?
Oh wait night is black, right.

Butterflies visited at night
Lions, they came at morn
And you thought, they were right
You wished you were never born

born, burn, cow, hoof, kick, mad...

madness, sadness, badness
is that a word, fun word
ooh, butterflies are back

No, my mind is mine still
I slip yet still hold on
If I lose this, you kill
Kill, and in clarity, I gone

Little butterfly huh
Black shape point me flash bang
Dark
