Desert Storm Poem by Joan Noëldechen

Desert Storm

I await your arrival into my reality.

Once I asked you to return

To me.

Are you a mirage?

My lips are parched like the desert.

I wish you would awaken my love.

My heart has been captured and

I never wish to be released from your tender embrace.

Take me to our bed, where we can love one another into ecstacy.

I will love you and care for you as a helpmate for life.

I will dwell in your tent forever as Ruth did for Boaz.

I love you, my darling.

May God bless you.
