Desperately Needed Poem by Kathrine Pierce

Desperately Needed

He was not a part of the family. Instead he was viewed as another calamity.
He was a wolf alone from the pack. They made sure in nothing he would lack.
Still he was different and isolated. To be apart is what he wanted.
A part of them
Apart from himself
Apart from everything
That was dealt.
He desperately needed a friend to stand by. People saw his need and would sigh.
They chose to ignore the problem at hand. All the while his life was sinking sand.
Will you chose to be the one?
Will you do the deed to be done?
Or will you let him fade,
Fade away.
