Destiny's Prison Poem by Sandra Feldman

Destiny's Prison

Rating: 5.0

Materialism, was never my "ism"
I preferred poetry and true love
But all my life, was one big prison
Wasting time, searching for
An illusory fantasy,
Never really found, never really had.

Loving you was a decision,
Not made by foolish heart
Love just happened for no reason
With or without great wisdom
But if not corresponded,
Can be the greatest pain
The darkest prison,
Any heart can ever have.

'Destiny's Prison' is indeed a unique and catchy title! Your work on sad love is poignantly beautiful..............10
