A Look of Love

A look of Love,
How many words,
Silently heard,
Without a sound?
The feelings rush,
And Love does crush.
All else, around.

The look of Love,
How deep it is,
Volcanic, Passion,
Turned to bliss
Words absolutely can't compete,
With looks of Love as two hearts meet

Wow! I could feel the power of a silent look, it sent a rush of feelings to my heart, surprising me no end! The second verse so aptly describes the feelings of love in my life, it's like you were reading the senses of my being. Great poem, Sandra, totally loving it! Thank you for this poem. Wow! So brilliantly put. It's a joy to read such lines.
Looks of love can put in motion a strange chemistry between two bodies. (Report) Reply

Poem of the Day

poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

I heard the bells on Christmas day
Their old familiar carols play,
And wild and sweet the words repeat
Of peace on earth, good will to men.
