Destinys Last Lunch Poem by Brandon Dugan

Destinys Last Lunch

Rating: 5.0

Destiny called me today
To remind me that im alittle off task
He never told me how to fix it
He just hung up when i asked
So i sat there wondering, just what to do
Nothing came to me, not a clue
Until one day he showed up at my door
I was so shocked my jaw hit the floor
So i asked him to come, come and take a seat
He told me that he knew one day, just one day we would meet
So I sat with destiny and we drank alittle tea
We talked of what was and what will be
When the time for his goodbye was near
My heart resounded without a cheer
I opened the door and said goodbye
And I think I saw a tear forming in his eye
Because the next day I died......
