Detatched Poem by Austin Moore

Detatched

Tell me what it means to be sincere
It’s a lie that tells a story of fear
A story that nobody wants to hear
A story that makes your hope disappear

Believe what you want but I won’t stand for this
Say our last goodbyes and give life its dismiss
A coma drifting into unknown abyss
I’ll never regret cause I’ll never exist

Sincere is just another level of trust
An excuse to satisfy unwanted lust
I don’t think that you’ll ever readjust
Knowing that you’ve turned my heart to dust
