Detester's Haste Poem by Hamisi Miriti

Detester's Haste

They sing of it all day and night
And fight for it with all their might
Some pay for it that's all they get
Yet for many others, it is worth the wait

They yearn for it who are without
And once in it they won't get out
Some play with it but then lose out
Yet for many others, it's right in the house

They seek for it even in markets
And swig for it in bars and cafes
Some even find it at the very workplace
Yet for many others, it's only for their pets

They stress for it and lose their sleep
And overuse it just partners to keep
Some can't deal with it and seem so inept
Yet for many others, it's not worth the fret

They sometimes blame it, for their mistakes
And because of it, their own lives they take
Some others had it, but let it to waste
Yet for many others, love is just the best.
