Devil Poem by Fahad Siddiqui

the devil seems to show no end
how we tend to hide
and have our remorse
we gather
like the feather
falling off from a bird
tying to find the perfect world
making sense of it all
beginning to realize the madness
and how one cant have much here
the burden that one bares
theres no life here
there only truth
and one tends to dare
what would he grant
for when one tends to say
we must obey
and find the perfect light
its time to strike
maybe the ghost and spirit could be controlled
or maybe i simply need to pass through this gate
and understand the toll
maybe i would have something to do here
afterall whats the point in trying
when people are simply dying
theres not much to grasp for me
everyones got a play of their own
to have what they want
to get as much as they would like
stepping on someone as if they were stone
while noone understands the problem caused
it tends to be my loss
something not known yet
as if there was some bet
as to whose winning and whose lost
I dont think they realize the cost
at most they would die one day
scamper and flee
and know that they have barged into my life
I dont know about the rest
ive tried my best
maybe they feed a little of their believes
lured a mouse
to eat some cheese
not interested in the cheese
dont plan on dying
and i dont care if your not lying
what doesnt help is of no use afterall
you perhps have taken enough
its about time you give
if you choose to have some say
in the affairs today
how one rots
whereever they would hide
in every slot
thy made the perfect toy
that noone shall buy
