You truly are a diamond in the rough
No matter what happens, you still stay true
Never back out when things start to get tough
You will never give up all the way through

Everybody tries to figure you out
Most think they already know what they need
Try to help but don't know what you're about
You don't need anyone else to succeed

Point out the fake ones, Senses sagacious
Won't be thinking of them when you make it
Stay away from the ones most ravenous
When around them things only end tragic
