Diamonds Poem by Ray Hansell

Diamonds

Rating: 5.0

Diamonds shine and sparkle
It's said, there a girl's best friend
They wear them in a necklace
Bracelet or a ring

You can always buy them
In any jewelry store
When a lady gets one
They usually want some more

Husbands may buy diamonds
To show their wife's their love
But all the diamonds I'll ever want
Shine in the heavens above

They shine in the sky for me to see
But yet, they aren't mine
Anyone can see them
Just about all the time

People who buy diamonds
Must always pay the bill
But I have diamonds that are free
They always give such a thrill
