I wish I could be there
when you needed a shoulder
to lean on
someone to make sure
your ghost' were all gone

And when you needed
to shed a tear
I could be someone
to hold you dear
while you laid in my arms and cry

I know some things in this life
can be such a scare
but i'll always be here
with diamonds in the sky

You touch my heart, my soul
these feeling's I can't let go
you gave a reason to believe
you let a special love show
and I never want you to leave

I would like to see this love grow
to have you there as we get older
with a love so pure
that only you and me would know
