Diaphanous (Ahmad Naseem Qasimi) Poem by Ravi Kopra

Diaphanous (Ahmad Naseem Qasimi)

Screws and Turns of Body and Soul

How diaphanous was your
body when you passed
by me yesterday!

I saw the calmness of a
lake spread all over your
face, and when I turned my
glances to your heart,

I saw the
upheavals of hell,
as if struck by an
earthquake.
