The diary is for the days that you spend with me
Of things we talk about and things we see.
The cherished moments that we've shared
And of good times that we can't compare.
Of getaway trips that we booked are the
Simple things that most people overlook.
The quiet dinners, the walks on the beach
The waves splashing at our feet.
The starry skies the moonlit nights of when
Our hearts took to flight.
The times we held each other and not a word was spoken
And this magical attraction was unbroken.
When I whispered the words " I love you "
And you said the same ting too.
The talks we had as we walked and held hands
about our wedding plans.
Every diary page will be filled with things yet to come
To show our children when the day is done.
