Did We Ever Meet? Poem by flona flona

I met him on a spring’s day
When all the red roses were growing
I didn’t know if it was the right thing to do
But only after my heart beats I was following
 
And when I saw him I knew it was summer
As his smile brightened my day
And when I fell into his arms
I just didn’t know what I had to say
 
But after we touched it turned into autumn
And my body shivered in the freezing cold
I tried to pull my self against him
Because his body is all I had to hold
 
And after the winds it turned into winter
And endless rain began pouring
We were barley seeing one another
And each other’s names we began calling
 
It grew darker and darker by the second
Then the rain washed him into the hurricane
Now am left alone in the dark
In the cold calling his name
 
Then the sky began clearing
I saw myself in that garden again
Searching around to find a sign of him
And realized the dead roses from the rain
 
I remembered when he compared me to a rose
And now am just like these roses that are falling apart
The only difference the rose and I share
Is that the rose don’t have a broken heart
 
And once again spring is here
And I am still in the garden waiting for you
Trying to figure out if your existence
Was imaginary or in fact was true
