Difference Between mother's Love And Father's Love Poem by Asit Kumar Sanyal

Difference Between mother's Love And Father's Love

Mother's love is unconditional
it's bliss
it's peace
it's like blessing
it need not to be acquired
produced
or controlled
need not to be deserved
it's natural
she is the nature, soil, ocean
mother is the home we come from.

Father doesn't represent such things
he has little connection with the infant
but he is the other pole of human existence
he introduces his child with many things
the world of thought
man made things
law and order
discipline
travel and adventure
and many more...
father makes his child disciplined, brave and courageous
shows the critical paths of the world.

Father's love is conditional
he loves his children
because they fulfills his expectations
do his duties correctly
fatherly love is not natural
like mother's love
it has to be deserved
if one fails to do what he expects
may lose it too
for getting father's love
one must be well mannered and obedient
if not, father withdraws his love
gives punishment
he is always guided by
principles, expectations, patience and tolerance
he gives his growing child
an increasing sense of competence.

A boy should get mother-centred attachment
upto six years of age
after that must shift to father-centred attachment
for getting required maturity
if mother is a dominating woman
and father is weak
child remains fixed at mother attachment
he becomes dependent on his mother
he can't do anything individually
feels helpless, unprotected, unsecured
and can't master his life by himself
if father is dominating and mother weak
he becomes a man of principles,
order and authority
may be harsh, rude, impolite, thoughtless
and can't think of unconditional love
so father's love and mother's love
both required in life.
