Different, But The Same To Me Poem by Cora Lee

Different, But The Same To Me

Rating: 3.0

Two different people fight long and hard
to own one valued piece.
Neither reaching the finish or crossing the start
I've listend, to each, their speech.

They each crave the same common goals,
of wealth of class and power.
both wanting what another has stole,
just to fall down off the ladder.

Love and peace seem fine to me,
but neither can be achieved.
I will loose one forever, as unfair as it may seem,
but it's the way love goes i believe.
