Diner Beware Poem by Ima Ryma

Diner Beware

Rating: 5.0

Harry and Joe stop by to eat
At a diner, and put their coats
On a rack and then take a seat.
Joe notices a sign in quotes,
"We are not responsible for"
"Your belongings that disappear."
Joe eyes the coat rack more and more,
Causing an awkward atmosphere.
Irritated, Harry does say,
"Watching the coats, I don't see why"
"You need act in this silly way."
And in response Joe does reply,

"I'm only watching mine, you know."
"Yours was stolen a while ago."
