Dining Out Poem by Marilyn Lott

Dining Out

Rating: 0.5

I sure do enjoy dining out
For it’s such a treat to me
Scrumptious juicy burgers
Perfect for the eyes to see

Or a steak and mashed potatoes
Smothered in rich brown gravy
Veggies cooked so perfectly
Delicious and I don’t mean maybe

And salads fresh and crisp
Perhaps served with a vinaigrette
Topped with crunchy croutons
So good I could be there yet

Then a dessert would top it off
Chocolate rich and creamy
Whipped cream and a cherry
Would make it oh so dreamy

And then of course it would be
So nice if the view outside
Wa be beautiful and restful
Then dining would be just right!
