Disappointment Poem by Dillon Keuthonymos Crawford

Disappointment

Words of sorrow carved into skin
Reminding me that I'm falling again
My mind is foggy
How I wish it was clear
How do you hurt me so when I hold you so dear
Days go by and the happiness fades
My life is quickly becoming nothing but haze
So take this knife and end it all
I'm not a toy but I refuse to fall
I won't be on my knees begging and pleading
So hurry up and continue my beating
The sun sets lows
The lone bird take off
The days that I waited
On hand and on foot
Have come to an end
