Distance Poem by Marcquiese Burrell

Distance

Day by day I wander
Furthest from your heart
Just knowing of how it be
Having to suffer the burden of such emotion
Simply put, There's no room for you to stay
So instead, I travel the distance when roads turn grey
Countless times you've said you've missed me
and it would only seem like child's play
If you are lost for any words to say
Then I matter none to you anyway.
