Far away feels hard
Near but you’re still far
Why is it like this?
I do not know
What I love you for
Why can’t you answer me?
You are here with me
But why does it feel
Like you are not at all
I am not deaf
But why can’t I
Hear you say

This near distance
Like the long distance
Is killing me inside
