Distantly Changed Poem by Nashy Lamen

Distantly Changed

At first,
Happy they are together,
Longing to be for each other forever,
Though,
Distance keeps one far from the other,
A stairway apart from each other,
Steps away from each other,
A walk apart from the other...
Then,
They somehow bump into each other,
But then they ignore each other,
A short glance at each other,
as they glare at each other,
Then,
They move away from each other,
No longer there for each other...

See how everything changes in just one blink,
Change is the only thing constant, I think,
First you're happy, then depressed,
at somehow stuck in obliviousness.

Change your look, change your mind,
Change the feelings you feel inside,
Change your mood, change it all,
Regret it after, change and fall.

(NONSENSE POEM: based on obseravations)
