Distraught Poem by Kalee Skriver

Distraught

I make my way through a jumble of confusion and fears.
You take away my heart, and I give you my tears.
What a maze of cries and tangled lies.
Just a web of distrust and compromise.
Dont give me your excuses,
for I know behind your mask this is a foreign truce.
The kind you make just to keep up the ruse.
