Don'T Be Afraid Poem by Kalee Skriver

Don'T Be Afraid

Yeah, I can hear you, your voice echoing through the night.
No, I can’t understand you, your voice muffled by your flight.
What are you running from?
Your screams so loud, yet your prayers so quiet.
I’m here to help you, to mend what ails you.
Listen to me, when I speak no one hears.
But you are still here.
Speak up, tell the world what you have in mind.
We need to listen to be one of a kind.
