Divide
i said to you once
i'd be there to lick away
your tears.
and i always was,
until that day i caused
them
and your passion
bloomed in bruises
across my skin.
i have not forgiven you
as you have
forgiven yourself.
and though vanished now
beyond a knowing eye
your wounds and mine
will ever be
twined.
