Divisive Poem by J.B. LeBuert

Divisive

You should be submissive instead of divisive
What you say is such a load of dung
Your words are so intrinsically derisive
For this attitude you might be hung

Stating the obvious should be easy
Maybe you should just be quiet
Your thoughts, make so many queasy
Are you trying to start a riot

You can't accept the real truth
And won't even listen to the actual
You are just so obtuse and uncouth
How can you avoid the factual

A contrarian is not the way to be
You may get noticed even obtain fame
It isn't always best to get publicity
Hurtful words are so much of your game

Bring together and stop dividing
You'll sleep so much better
Where is your "Fox News" mind residing
Stop being an egotistic dead letter
