Diwali For The Dead Poem by Saheb Mohapatra

Diwali For The Dead

Rating: 5.0

Never shall my lamps stop to glow,
Even if my breaths start to slow,
Even if shall die human's humaneness
Or his nobility which perhaps is the Almighty's bless.
God knows, not know the men,
Even if I am dead, shall glow my lamps
Beside my ever-slept bones,
Being a navigator with the heaven's maps.
